Traslacion on a street photographer's perspective

Street photographer has their own style and technique when it comes to street photography. Most likely they like to use their advantage when producing their own images. With these photographs that I created during the “Traslacion 2017” I decided to do some juxtaposition.

It is the word most artist love to use, it simply means creating or drawing a contrast between two elements in an image. Photographer can use juxtaposition in his or her favor by producing an image that is ironic, interesting or just plain mysterious.

It can be found on daily life, that’s why I planned to do these last “Traslacion” and framing a photograph to include certain elements. Having my camera on my side, I tried to be a keen observer to capture those decisive moments and go for the candid look.

BGC (First PW 2017)

Traffic free roads on holidays like New Year was very favorable to drive going BGC. On ordinary days traffic was heavy going on that place. With my family we decided to roam what's in store for us. Of course I was able to do some street photos using X100s.

Goodbye 2016, Hello 2017!

Today was the last day of 2016, 31st of December and decided to go to Quiapo to buy some fruits for the New Year's eve.  Brought a Fuji X100s my photowalk gear for at least 4 months now. Just roamed the area down to Sta. Cruz to click whatever image suits for SP, After I think, an hour walking I had made some photos. Here it was hope you like it.
This one caught my attention, I love the similarity ofthe two image, photo of human boy and an idol. Took the photos just at the front side of Mercury Drug in Quiapo.

Partially covered design of Black Nazareth on the pedicab as the kid looking puzzled with it.

Fruit vendors with the same color of  shirt but the print was different.
Typically when  around seven in the morning you will be amazed by the sunlight at the area of  Carriedo and the Avenida, particularly in   Philtrust Bank. If you want to have an image like this go there at seven in the morning.
Its so nice to play with the light especially when the colorful jeepneys alighting passengers in that area.
Before going home I try to take some shot around the vicinity of Sta. Cruz where light was really nice to play with.
Last shot before riding a jeepney, saw her with red cap, red bag, red palstic bag and red coin purse. Thirteen (13) was really a lucky number for me this time.

Back in Bacoor

People used to queue at Revilla's residence, but this family seems frustrated maybe they came late and not be able to come inside the mansion.
I  remember wandering in this place last 2013 at Christmas Day, today I had a chance to photograph again. Though its already late that I woke up, excited to roam around the vicinity to walk and chat some people that I met while walking.
Mother and her child .
Even the goat eating grass on the field was a very interesting to photograph.
Cant help  to  click this one, I noticed Bacoor had plenty or some people into this misery, unlike in Imus and Dasma, again corruuptions  really happening this was very near to the Revilla residence.
